Personal assistance for children is about creating just those conditions, both for the child and for the entire family. At GK Assistans, we focus on the child's best interests and adapt each intervention to the child's individual needs.
We know that children's needs are different from adults'. That's why we work with a child-focused approach where security, continuity and relationships are at the center.
Our personal assistants have experience working with children and receive special training in communication and low-affective treatment - all to create a calm, safe and respectful environment for the child.
As a parent, you have a clear role in the planning and design of the assistance. We work closely with you, listen to your wishes and take into account the entire family's life situation.
Our goal is to create an assistance solution that works at home, at school, during leisure activities and, if necessary, even on vacation or travel.
We help you through the entire process – from first contact to assistance being initiated. We support you in the application, handle contact with authorities and offer legal assistance if needed.
Even after the assistance has started, we are still there – to follow up, adjust and make sure everything works as it should.
