Applying for personal assistance can feel difficult and complicated. At GK assistans, you will receive support throughout the entire process – from the first call until the assistance is in place. We take care of contact with authorities, help with all the paperwork and ensure that you receive the support you are entitled to according to the law.
It starts with you contacting us. We schedule a personal meeting, often a home visit, where we go over your situation and what you need. If we agree to work together, we sign an agreement and start the process.
Our lawyers will help you formulate the application correctly and submit it to the municipality or the Social Insurance Agency. When an investigation is booked, we are at your side. Together we describe what your everyday life looks like and what support you need.
After the investigation, we review the documentation carefully. If anything needs to be changed, we contact the authority directly. When the decision comes, we go through it together. If necessary, we will help you appeal – completely free of charge.
Once the decision is approved, we will start building your assistance. You can bring your own assistants or let us help you find the right person. Of course, everything happens in close consultation with you.
